Ahoy! I’m Will, the conversion copywriter from Brighton, UK. I’ve been writing conversion-driven copy like a possessed word nerd for a while.
I truly this game, but it took me a while to find it... Anyways, we’ll get to all of that in a second. Let’s keep it simple for starters.

All of that involves

  • – Creating wireframes & copy from scratch
  • – Reviewing your copy and rewriting it
  • – Conversion rate optimisation (copy reports, A/B testing etc.)
  • – Writing for an entire campaign, website copy, emails, landing pages – everything.

I do all of that for this lot

Startups, SaaS companies and digital agencies. And occasionally others if we’re a good match for each other.

This is how I do it

Ya see, slick copy – that converts – is an art and a science: it takes research, marketing knowledge, eavesdropping on your audience, mad writing skills, and an obsessive urge for optimisation to get the results you want. What I enjoy (besides copywriting)

Going for lengthy runs by the seaside, adding to my copywriting swipe file, listening to 80’s shoegaze bands, reading, and tonnes of other cliche things that copywriters enjoy.

My journey into copywriting

For years I searched for the work I was meant to do. I worked everywhere: shops, offices and even on board a 5-star cruise ship. And then, I found myself writing code at a creative agency. Coding was ok… it just wasn’t for me. But there was one great thing about that job: I worked with a team of copywriters.

I didn’t know copywriting existed. I’d been wanting to make a living out of my writing for years. Getting to mix my love for writing and marketing together, I got obsessed with it. I left web development to start a marketing role, with copywriting as my side hustle. But... the side hustle quickly mutated and grew into a wild copywriting juggernaut.
