What is conversion copywriting?
Conversion copywriting is writing to persuade people to take a specific action (buy a product or service, subscribe for a newsletter, sign up for a webinar etc.).
I already have a website but my conversion rate is poor. Can you help me?
Absolutely! I chose to write conversion copy as it gives me nowhere to hide: you know how well your current campaign is performing and it’s my job to make it better. This is conversion copywriting 101. I can most certainly help you get more conversions.
I don’t have a design for my project yet! Can you help me?
Fear not, this is the case for most of my projects. In order to create copy for the web or an app, I’ll deliver your website copy in a wireframe to ensure it gets the room it needs to work its magic.
That’s the best way to do it. Copy should lead the design as it’s the copy that persuades and sells. You can then hand this to your designer/web developer to get your copy online, fast.
My project isn’t a “conversion copywriting” project. Can you still help me?
Yes. I take on other projects, so let’s see if we’re a good fit. Send me an email and we’ll find out if it’s something that I can help you with.
What is a wireframe?
A wireframe is a basic mockup of the end product we are working on. No fancy PhotoShop design, just a basic structure to focus on the copy and layout without being distracted by images, colours and videos. Here’s a quick video to show you a wireframe in action.
What if I don’t like my first draft?
I will make up to 2 rounds of revisions at no extra cost. Please see step 6 on my copywriting process page to learn about my revision process.
Do you do the keyword research?
Yes. In most cases, the client supplies me with their desired keywords but I can do this for you or suggest an SEO expert for you to talk to first.
How do you charge?
I prefer to charge by fixed price as we both know exactly what we’re working towards and how much it’s going to cost.
What are your rates?
Here is a rough guide to my pricing:
6-page website with wireframes: from £1000/$1240
Landing pages: from £600/$744
8-part email sequence: from £700/$867
1000-word blog: from £250/$310.00
There are many things that I take into account when I quote: the level of research required, whether you require SEO keywords or not, the number of meetings required etc.

You sure can. I’m adding to my portfolio right now. In the meantime, email me from your business email address and I’ll send you a link containing some examples of my work.
Do you use templates?
Not for website copy, I like to create these from scratch. But I find it makes sense to use templates for sales funnels as it is pretty clear what works!
Who do you write for?
Mainly SME’s, online educators, SaaS (Software as a Service) companies, and marketing agencies when they have too many copywriting projects to manage.
Do you work for free?
No… I don’t do free samples or writing tests. There are plenty of examples of my work in my portfolio that I can share with you. I know working with someone new is always a risk, so I can break projects up into milestones, and the 1st one is usually short and sweet.
I’m interested in setting up a retainer. How many hours can you do?
This depends on my current availability. It is best to send me a message and let me know how many hours you need per week.
How do you manage projects?
For most projects, nothing other than Gmail and Google docs! For bigger projects, I find Trello works best. (I can use your companies project management tool if we are working on a big project together.)
Will you upload my copy into my CRM or email tool?
Usually no. I can but it will add a bit more to my quote as it’s more time for me.
How did you learn how to write copy?
I went to copywriting school. Just joking, there’s no such thing! I learnt through reading marketing books, copywriting books, Udemy courses, YouTube videos, following the best copywriters, and most importantly of all – through writing copy and seeing what works.
I need some help developing my project’s strategy before any copy is written – can you help me with that?
Yes. Some of my clients need a full strategy and others have everything ready to go. I can help you either way.
Do you have a team?
No, it’s just me. I write all of the copy. I know plenty of reliable graphic designers, web developers, SEO experts, and marketing specialists should you need additional help for your project.
